Theme Based Learning
The theme based approach is a way of teaching and learning where areas of the curriculum are connected together and integrated within them. It involves the child's learning through one central topic. The topic 'Myself' for Std 1 involved communication, fine motor, cognitive, observation ,literacy, comprehension, listening, gross motor, social emotional, writing, numeracy, auditory and creative skills.
